Ph.Dad Episode 3: Kids Exchange Shopping Experience

Ph.Dad Kids Exchange

As a couple working to simplify our lives and reduce the amount of things that we have, a trip to the Kids Exchange in Raleigh this weekend was a bit overwhelming!

We’re working on getting everything we think we’re going to need for the baby, slowly buying the major components. We were hoping that the Kid’s Exchange would be a last major push for the few things that we need. We got a few good things, and some nice outfits, but overall, there was a LOT of plastic junk there. We were shopping late in the process, so we likely missed some of the best stuff, but we wanted to avoid the crazy lines.

Overall it wasn’t that bad, but phew – I’m glad it’s over!

  1. You guys aren’t washing those baby clothes and blankets in regular laundry detergent, right? That’s a BIG NO NO! You will hate yourself if you do.

    1. Thanks for the tip! We got the crazy no scent super gentle and soft and wonderfully awesome stuff 🙂 I owe that to Lea though. I would have used the regular!
